Come along with us as we explore a cave located within the boundaries of Cloudland Canyon State Park in Georgia! This incredible cave has been explored by local adventurers and cavers for over 50 years. With a 42-foot vertical entrance pit and more than 3 miles of passage, it offers a challenging and rewarding underground experience.

In the past, a fixed ladder provided easier access into the entrance pit, which unfortunately led to increased vandalism from those untrained in cave conservation, and many of the walls were defaced with spray paint. Thankfully, the ladder has since been removed, and access now requires proper vertical gear and rappelling skills, helping to protect the cave's natural beauty.

After rappelling into the entrance, we made our way down to the spacious Moon Room and pushed on to the Mud Room. After exploring this muddy area of the cave with lots of mud slides to enjoy, we then backtracked and climbed up into the King Passage to admire its impressive formations.
