Discovering Natures Hidden Secrets Inside Missouri’s Longest Cave

Come along with us as we visit Missouri's longest cave which is located in Perryville, Missouri. This cave has three entrances and on this trip we will be entering through a 24 inch culvert pipe that leads into a 127 foot deep pit and exiting a second horizontal entrance. Once inside the cave, we will be traversing around 4 miles of cave passage making our way through to the second entrance. Along the way, as we traverse a lot of river passage, we discover more bones and lots of fish, with one of those being a gold fish! We also take a side trip into an area known as the Paradise Room and see some really cool large flowstone formations. Before exiting the cave, we also climb up to an upper level passage to see some Lily Pad formations, which were formed under water at some point in the caves history.
