Calcified DEER SKULL Discovered at the Bottom of this Cave

Come along with us as we explore this vertical cave in Alabama where we come across a calcified deer skull. The deer at some point fell into the pit and landed below a wall of flowstone. Over the years it has built up a rock layer on top of the skull. Also in this pit are the remains of a "lost dog". This cave has two drops, which makes it what we call a multi-drop cave. The second drop has a bit of a challenge as you squeeze through a passage and go over the second pit before you can climb down to it. At the bottom of the second pit, it opens up into a nice large chamber. Unfortunately, lots of small animals have succumbed to their death in this pit as we show many different bones in the bottom.
