A Quilt By The Name Of Neversink

Check out this amazing quilt that artist Diane Knoblauch from Section, Alabama created based on a photo that I took several years ago at Neversink Pit in Fackler, Alabama. The quilt was on display at the LaGrange Art Museum as part of the Exhibition "Openings" - Georgia/South Carolina Studio Art Quilt Associates Regional Exhibition. Diane titled the quilt Rappelling the Neversink and what an AMAZING and MOVING piece this quilt is. It is a beautiful remake of the photo and a tribute to the pit itself. Enjoy!
